Individual crash records are analysed in depth, as well as mass data systems. The report includes a detailed literature review to determine what is known about the child road accident environment and the world of the child. Parent and teacher's concerns are examined along with road safety education. The report concludes with a detailed analysis of suggested countermeasures and some suggestions for further research.
