Calculating pavement response using elastic material models. Licentiate thesis Agardh, Sven

Av: Utgivningsinformation: Lund Lunds universitet. Tekniska högskolan, 2002; Teknik och samhälle. Vägbyggnad, ; Bulletin 14, Beskrivning: 92 s. + bilÄmnen: Bibl.nr: VTI P4331:14Location: Abstrakt: The objective of this study is to evaluate different response models. The response model is recommended in COST 333 project to describe the increment in damage for each layer under each loading cycle. However, the currently used model does not in-depth describe the behaviour of pavement materials. It is a drawback that the vertical strain in the subgrade cannot be predicted since this value is of importance as input in performance models. Seven different models have been evaluated by comparing calculated response with measured responses from four test sites. Evaluation methods used Falling Weight Deflectometer and measurements using wheel load.
