This TCRP digest summarizes the mission performed October 12–27, 2001, under TCRP Project J-3, “International Transit Studies Program.” The digest includes transportation information on the cities and facilities visited, lessons learned, and discussions of policies and practices that could be applied in the United States. This digest was prepared by Kathryn Harrington-Hughes of the Eno Transportation Foundation and is based on reports filed by the mission participants.
