This report covers the information gathering carried out under Task 2 (Use of Falling Weight Deflectometers at Network Level). The exercise involved: a literature survey, a review of information from associated COST Actions, the operation of a dedicated workshop held in Lisbon in June 1997, using the personal experience of the COST 336 members. The information gathered during the task work will form the baseline for decision making in the preparation of the Network Level Guide.
