The need for a renewed initiative towards road safety in Lagos, a megacity by United Nations categorization is more pronounced now than ever before. The problems of road safety in Lagos with its 'ever-increasing' population have reached an alarming level and it has started having negative effects on the quality of life, socio-economic prosperity and sustainable development in the city.
