A meta-analysis based on 13 studies provides relative risks of accidents for several subgroups. The overall relative risk all studies is estimated to 1.48 (1.26; 1.74). For studies control for exposure (milage) the relative risk is estimated to 1.30 (1.08; 1.57). Some of the studies comprise high amounts of ADHD-drivers with comorbidity (Oppositional Defiant Disorder og Conduct Disorder)and the relative risk in this subgroup was 1.79 (1.27; 2.51). Drivers with ADHD have a higher of being involved in a personal injury accidents than in a propoerty-damage-only accident. The relative risks for these two levels of injury were 1.90 (1.48; 2.43) og 1.19 (0.96; 1.48) respectively.
