Paper, 2009Description: 5 sSubject(s): Bibl.nr: VTI P1835:16 [World]Location: Abstract: The most of existed traveler and transport information system are monomodal and single agency oriented with only one information mode (text, data, speech, etc.). Some advanced traveler information systems offer multimodal and real-time information with different levels of integration. This paper considers basic concept and requirements of Multimedia, Multimodal, Multiagency Transport Information System (M3TIS) for metropolitan area in CEE countries. Different aspects and levels of interoperability are examined using generalized model. Several possible technologies for M3TIS are evaluated and this choose must be based on effective functional design. Systems methodology with intelligent agent technology can be used as a good approach and neutral platform for interoperable information exchange in M3TIS.| Cover image | Item type | Current library | Home library | Collection | Shelving location | Call number | Materials specified | Vol info | URL | Copy number | Status | Notes | Date due | Barcode | Item holds | Item hold queue priority | Course reserves | |
