By: Contributor(s): Publication details: Bryssel ITS in daily life: 16th world congress and exhibition on intelligent transport systems and services, Stockholm 21-25 September 2009. Paper, 2009Description: 8 sSubject(s): Bibl.nr: VTI P1835:16 [World]Location: Abstract: The effectiveness of a moving-based driving simulator as a tool for presenting realistic driving scenarios was examined, assuming that intermodal transport transfer guidance be provided by a car navigation system to a driver facing sudden congestion ahead on a business trip. Three out of designed seven contents of park and ride information has been evaluated as favorable messages. The adoption of driving simulation to design large-scale questionnaire surveys has been proposed in response to the positive change of evaluation scores after a driving simulation experience.
