More than 35 operators, Toll roads and ferries now offer payment to approximately 2 million EasyGo users. The traffic paying by EasyGo has steadily increased since the opening in 2007 and in June 2009 passed two million transactions corresponding to a value of ¢â€šÂ¬ 60 million. The partners in EasyGo want to make the solution and experience gained from implementation and operation of EasyGo available for the development of the future European Electronic Toll Service - EETS. This paper describes the system, the experience and how the knowledge and experience from EasyGo may contribute to the on-going European development.
