All Nordic countries set up working groups to examine and illuminate the subject matter with emphasises on safety for work places on road. The working groups have studied the accident statistics and the specific laws and rules governing this area. The status in each country in specific areas, such as asphalt fume, vibrations and the psychosocial workplace environment has been illuminated. Each group summarized their findings in a report. During the annual meeting in Marstrand, the reports were presented discussed. The annual meeting in Marstrand gathered 49 participants and 25 companions. During the meeting the participants were divided in teams and worked on the preparation for the next steps to improve the working environment. The results from the teamwork are also presented in this report. A research contest was held during the annual meeting. Four contributions competed in the contest and the winner was Martin Korsgaard from Denmark with the entry: "Beregningssoftware til vurdering of CO2 emission wood vejarbejde". The meeting also presented the project "Mørtelfasens betydning for asphalt quality". The annual meeting ended with a technical tour to the construction site BanaVäg in the West, where the participants were able to study the construction of the railroad and road through the geological difficult area around Göta älv.
