This issue contains six graduate research award papers. The papers are concerned with the following aspects of aviation: using online data to explore competitive airline pricing policies; a hybrid system model of air traffic controller cognition; the impact of congestion at major airports; external airport risk exposure in the vicinity of nontowered airports; nonfiscal barriers to airport development; and the Pilot Reliability Certification program.
