This report presents the data and preliminary results of BEPERS Pilot Study which was performed in the Gulf of Bothnia and Northern Baltic Sea Proper during 30 March - 3 April 1987. The principal object of BEPERS Pilot Study was the use of Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) in remote sensing of brackish water pack ice.
