Testing of unregulated emissions from heavy duty natural gas vehicles : Part 2 Willner, Kristina ; Danielsson, Daniel

By: Contributor(s): Series: SGC Rapport ; 2014:297Publication details: Malmö Svenskt Gastekniskt Center, 2014Description: 62 sSubject(s): Online resources: Notes: Provning av oreglerade emissioner i tunga metangasdrivna fordon. Provuppgifter presenteras i detalj i huvudrapporten. Fordonet betecknas "fordon nr 4" i denna rapport. Abstract: This report is a complement to SGC report 2013:289 “Testing of unregulated emissions from heavy duty natural gas vehicles”. The main report presents the testing and test results from three heavy duty natural gas vehicles. This report includes the test results from an additional HD NGV tested in the same manner as the previous three ones. Details of the testing can be found in the main report. The tested vehicle was a CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) fuelled garbage truck approved according to emission standard Euro VI. The vehicle is denoted “vehicle no 4” in this report. The combustion principle of the engine was stoichiometric. The vehicle was equipped with waste gate turbo, EGR and a three-way catalytic converter. The fuel used in the test was CNG from the tank of the vehicle which was filled up on a commercial fuelling station. The tests were performed with both cold and warm engine.
