Oslo kommune har mål om betydelige klimagassutslipp fram mot 2020 og 2030. Blant de ansatte i Oslo kommune er bilbruken relativt lav i forhold til resten av Oslo og landet, men våre analyser viser likevel et betydelig potensial for klimagassreduksjon ved å redusere de ansattes bilbruk. Det er særlig tiltak rettet mot ansatte i skoler og barnehager som vil kunne ha en stor effekt, siden det er mange ansatte i disse virksomhetene. Det vil også være viktigere å innføre tiltak mot arbeidssteder i de ytre bydelene enn i indre by.

The municipality of Oslo have ambitious goals to reduce the CO2-emissions. Among the employees of Oslo municipality, the use of car is relatively low compared to the rest of city and Norway as a whole. However, our analysis shows a significant potential to reduce CO2 emissions by reducing the car use among the employees. There are many people employees on schools and kindergardens, and measures towards these work places could have a large impact. The analysis also shows that measures towards work places in the outer city can be more efficient than towards work places in the inner city.
