By: Contributor(s): Publication details: [Stockholm] : Fordonsstrategisk Forskning och Innovation. FFI, 2019Description: 57 sSubject(s): Online resources: Abstract: The aim of the project is to study user behavior, user experience and the driver distraction problem when combined with driver assistance and automation functions, and specifically how such functions affect the design of secondary tasks for connectivity, entertainment and information. Interaction design principles will be adapted to driver interaction patterns under selected driving scenarios and form the basis for a ‘context-based’ HMI design. Furthermore, it is intended to investigate how new multimodal HMI technologies and the new scenarios that arise by the advent of ADAS makes it possible and perhaps necessary to rearrange the driver environment in such way as to support the driver/user to the greatest extent possible, and adapt to his/her needs.
