Järfälla kommun har undertecknat Viable Cities Klimatkontrakt2030. Genom kontraktet åtar sig kommunen att påskynda omställningen till klimatneutralitet. I samband med planeringen av Järfällas nya kommunhus finns en potential att utveckla och tillgängliggöra mobilitetstjänster i syfte att göra pendlings- och arbetsresor mer hållbara. Denna förstudie syftar till att ta fram underlag för utvecklingen av dessa mobilitetstjänster samt undersöka hur Järfälla kommuns medarbetares resvanor påverkas av tillgång till en digital plattform som erbjuder mobilitetstjänster. Potentialen med digitala plattformar utgör en viktig del i denna förstudie och kommande pilot. Utifrån intervjuer, CERO-analys, platsbesök och en omvärldsanalys tydliggörs att resvanor är en komplex fråga där flera faktorer påverkar val av transportmedel. För att hantera det så kallade livspusslet upplevs den privata bilen som en nödvändighet för många då den är flexibel och tidsbesparande. Samma frihet uppnås inte varken med dagens utbud av kollektivtrafik eller annan tillgänglig mobilitet. I övrigt anser flera enkätrespondenter och intervjuobjekt att det krävs ekonomiska incitament för att öka andelen resor med hållbara färdmedel. För många är det inte ett alternativ att göra sig av med bilen och därför innebär kompletterande mobilitetsalternativ också utökade kostnader. Vidare visar omvärldsbevakningen att de åtgärder som lyfts för att uppmuntra till hållbart resande ofta ger mer nytta för de som redan använder någon form av hållbar mobilitet än de som är helt beroende av en privat bil.

The Järfälla municipality has agreed to the Viable Cities Climate City Contract 2030. The municipality commits to accelerating the shift to climate neutrality through the contract. There is a chance to create and make accessible mobility services as part of the planning for the new municipal building in Järfälla in order to increase the sustainability of commutes and business trips. This feasibility study aims to generate input for the development of these mobility services and explore how access to a digital platform that provides mobility services affects the travel behaviors of Järfälla municipality employees. This feasibility study and the potentially upcoming pilot both heavily emphasize the potential of digital platforms. It is made clear from interviews, CERO analysis, site visits, and a review of the surrounding area that travel habits are a complex topic where many factors affect the choice of mode of transportation. Many people view the private car as a necessity because it is adaptable and time-saving in order to manage the so-called life puzzle. The current selection of public transportation and other forms of available mobility do not result in the same freedom. At the same time, a number of survey participants and interviewees feel that monetary rewards are necessary in order to raise the share of trips made using environmentally friendly transportation. Many people do not have the option of giving up their cars, so adding more mobility options also means paying more money. A review of similar projects also reveals that those who already use sustainable mobility rather than those who rely solely on private vehicles frequently benefit more from the actions taken to promote sustainable travel.
