JSON file format for rail profiles
Publication details: [Borlänge] : Trafikverket, 2024Description: 43 sSubject(s): Online resources: Abstract: This document defines a general file format for exchange of rail profile measurements. The format is based on the well-known, non-proprietary JSON format. The information is stored in text files, which makes them easily readable for humans, and tools for generating and reading JSON files exist in all major programming languages. Many rail profiles measured on the same track section may be saved in the same file, which means that the number of files will be manageable. Metadata are included, for example equivalent conicity with standard wheel profiles and track curvature. This document defines a general file format for exchange of rail profile measurements.
