Parkcess har adresserat problemet att det saknas verktyg som behövs för att för att kunna undvika byggandet av kostsamma undernyttjade parkeringsplatser och i stället nyttja befintliga parkeringsplatser. Syftet med projektet har varit att skapa en prototyp för en potentiell lösning med hjälp av insikter från användarna som är kommuner och fastighetsutvecklare inom projektet. Prototypen består av en digital kalkylator för parkeringstal och en marknadsplats för parkeringsköp i tidiga skeden. Resultatet av förstudien visar att det, med hjälp av digitala verktyg (prototypen), går att beräkna p-tal mer effektivt samtidigt som marknadsplatsen kan hjälpa till att flytta resurser från nybyggnation av p-platser till att främja delande av befintliga resurser och hållbar mobilitet.

Parkcess has addressed the problem that there is a lack of tools needed to be able to avoid the construction of costly underutilized parking spaces and instead use existing parking spaces. The purpose of the project has been to create a prototype for a potential solution using insights from the users who are municipalities and property developers within the project. The prototype consists of a digital parking calculator and an early-stage parking purchase marketplace. The results of the preliminary study show that, with the help of digital tools (prototype), it is possible to calculate parking demand more efficiently, while the marketplace can help reallocate resources from new construction of parking spaces to promoting sharing of existing resources and sustainable mobility.
