Projektet "Stadens resa" syftade till att utveckla skalbara processer och ramverk för att stödja klimatinvesteringsbeslut och hjälpa Eskilstuna och Helsingborg att nå sina klimatmål. Projektet genomfördes av ett konsortium bestående av Eskilstuna kommun, Helsingborg stad, AFRY och ClimateView. Projektet fokuserade på att omvandla klimatmål till kvantifierade framtidsscenarier och identifiera åtgärder för att nå dessa mål genom att testa omställningsramverkets verktyg och processer. Klimatomställningen är komplex och involverar många aktörer och sektorer. Projektet adresserade behovet av tydliga mål och gemensam överblick för att underlätta beslutsfattande och samarbete. Syftet var att utveckla en metodik, ett omställningsramverk, som kan användas av andra städer. Projektet delades från början in i sju arbetspaket, som tillsammans utgjorde den tänkta processen för städerna att uppnå sina klimatmål. Metoden innefattade att inventera befintliga klimatmål, skapa scenarier, analysera förutsättningar, genomföra gap-analyser, utveckla åtgärdsportföljer och säkerställa finansiering.

The project "City's Journey" aimed to develop scalable processes and frameworks to support climate investment decisions and help Eskilstuna and Helsingborg achieve their climate goals. The climate transition is complex and involves many actors and sectors. The project addressed the need for clear goals and a shared overview to facilitate decision-making and collaboration. The aim was to develop a methodology, a transition framework, that can be used by other cities. The project was initially divided into seven work packages, which together constituted the intended process for cities to achieve their climate goals. The method included inventorying existing climate goals, creating scenarios, analyzing conditions, conducting gap analyses, developing action portfolios, and securing financing.
